Old Man Winter Freezing Pipes in West Berlin

This basement was damaged by frozen pipes that caused water to spread all over. 

Cold temperates during the winter can freeze pipes in anyones property if precautions aren't taken. 

A few ways to prevent frozen pipes

1. Keep garage doors closed, especially if there are water supply lines in the garage.
2. Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing.
3. Let the cold water drip from a faucet served by exposed pipes.
4. Keep the thermostat set to the same temperature during day and night.
5. Leaving on vacation keep home set at 55 degrees.
6. Add Insulation to added that need it.
